Elmwood Park Convenience Store Revamped By New Owner

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. – The new owner of an Elmwood Park convenience store wants people to know his store is now clean, stocked and ready to serve the public.

Ashok Sheth of Saddle Brook said he took over the Kenny’s Food Store on Mola Boulevard near the Garfield boarder about six months ago.

And in that time, he has done a lot of work.

The store now has more refrigerators stocked with cold drinks, fresh food items, a larger coffee selection, more candy, cookies and a Slurpee machine, he said. And he carries popular items such as fidget spinners.

“I have a lot of experience in this business,” said Sheth.

Sheth said he has been in the convenience store business for 25 years, and owns two additional stores in Garfield.
