Elmwood Park American Legion Prepares To Dance Back To '50s

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Elmwood Park American Legion Post 147 will sponsor a dance contest fundraiser with a 1950s theme on Saturday, April 16.

Elmwood Park American Legion Post 147 is hosting a dance contest fundraiser with a 1950s theme on Saturday, April 16, from 7 - 11 p.m.

The dance will include a beefsteak dinner by Nightingale Caterers, and guests are encouraged to dress in 1950s-styled attire. Parking spots will be reserved for retro cars as well.

Proceeds from the event benefit veteran organizations. Tickets are $35 per person. To purchase tickets, call (201) 424-1071.

The event will be from 7 to 11 p.m.

The American Legion Post is at 1 Legion Place, Elmwood Park.
