The average commute time for Saddle Brook residents is 25.4 minutes, according to the site.

Obrella looked at cities with more than 10,000 residents, according to the 2013 Census and compared the traffic data of those cities with that from a recent survey by the U.S. Census Bureau.

"The Northern New Jersey community of Saddle Brook Township is crisscrossed by several major roadways, including The Garden State Parkway, Interstate 80, and Route 17," Obrella said in its report. "Such easy access to these major roadways is one reason why seven in 10 Saddle Brook Township residents get to work in less than 29 minutes."

The report notes those with jobs in Hackensack, Paterson — even Manhattan — "can hop on the commuter train and eliminate the stress of getting behind the wheel."
