Saddle Brook Man Vying For Top Honors In Hot Sauce Finals

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Bruce Walker really hopes you will vote for his garlic butter blast Buffalo wing sauce recipe, NorthJersey.com reported.

Walker is a wing afficiondo, and frequent customer at the Wing Zone on Market Street, which is having a “Flavor Face-Off” contest to get sauce recipes from customers, with the winning sauce going on the menu, according to NorthJersey.com.

There were 2,100 entries in the nationwide contest that started in August, NorthJersey.com said.

The contest was whittled down to two final sauces -- and one was Walker’s, the story said. The winning sauce will be added to the Wing Zone menu in February for a limited time, NorthJersey.com reported.
