“Annabelle was found as a tiny, emaciated stray pup with a huge growth on her backside,” RBARI states in a plea for donations to help the pup.

The young female dog “survived days out in the cold weather, sick with no food or water – and she found her way into our arms,” RBARI continues.

Staff of the Oakland shelter rushed Annabelle to the Oradell Animal Hospital, where she received a blood transfusion, intravenous fluids and medication to keep her comfortable, and where she will get another blood transfusion before surgery, according to RBARI.
