Wolf, a Fair Lawn native and 1988 graduate of the high school, started his show in 2011 to talk about faith. What he said makes it unique is the power prayer session with callers coming in from all over the country.

"I think one of the best decriptions of it is it seems like the audience and I are sitting around a kitchen table and we're tlaking about how faith plays out in real life," Wolf told Daily Voice.

The show airs from 7 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday. Wolf receives around a dozen calls per show coming from areas like California, Montana, Florida and Kentucky.

"Here we are in Saddle Brook, New Jersey but every Wednesday night there's an opportunity for people around the nation to be prayed for," he said, "and that's just a beautiful thing."

Wolf, who joined First Reformed Church around five years ago, said he never really thought about doing radio before. A recommendation from parishioner Matt Hendrickson convinced him, though.

Wolf said it's his personal mission to reach as many people as possible. Once the radio show started he ran into many people he grew up with in Fair Lawn who told him it helped them.

"All along we've gotten this powerful feedback that it's making a difference," Wolf said. "So that's why Matt [Hendrickson] and I are really committed to contining to do this."
