Hasbrouck Heights Amends $100 Towing Fee Typo

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS,  N.J. – A towing fee ordinance in Hasbrouck Heights will soon be corrected to reflect a $100 mistake, NorthJersey.com reports.

The code says that the towing fee for those times is $45, but it should be $145, and a correction will be made to change the mistake, NorthJersey.com reports.

Police Chief Michael Colaneri said people have been paying $145 since 2011 and no one challenged the fee, NorthJersey.com says.
