Route 46 Exit In Wayne Closes For Months

WAYNE, N.J. – The Route 46 exit to and from Fairfield Road in Wayne has been closed to all traffic, Passaic County announced.

The closure is expected to last for several months, and travelers are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible or follow detours when they are in place, the county’s announcement states.

There will be no access to Fairfield Road from Route 46 or from Fairfield Road to Route 46, and Fairfield Road will be a dead end south of Two Bridges Road, the announcement states.
