It is making progress on some ideas and events in the township.
The next event will be at 7 p.m. March 3 at the Saddle Brook Township Council meeting. John Hogan, who is the Bergen County clerk, will present historical documents.
Also, the pancake breakfast will be from 9-11 a.m. March 19 at the Dynasty Buffet, 383 Market St. Tickets are on sale for $5 per person.
The next event is the Saddle Brook Tricentennial Dedication Service, which will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at the First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook. There will be presentations, special music from the First Reformed and St. Philips choirs, special messages and a time of refreshments to follow downstairs in the church's fellowship hall.
Also discussed at the meeting are other events coming up throughout the year, including the Memorial Day Parade, township picnic and possible school events.
There also will be an historical photo journal put together with old pictures and a one-paragraph caption. Please send pictures to the tricentennial Facebook page with a description and they will be used in the photo journal.
