Saddle Brook's Holiday Inn Reopens As Crowne Plaza

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- A 148-room former Holiday Inn has reopened along Route 80 in Saddle Brook as a Crowne Plaza that the new owners hope will serve business travelers to New York City, according to northjersey.com.

The 12-story hotel was purchased at auction last summer for $10.7 million, features a restaurant on the top floor, a 24-hour business center, free wi-fi, meeting space, reception space, a renovated lobby and a renovated rooms, according to northjersey.com.

The new owners, the Unique Hotel Management Group of Houston, owns several hotels and has plans for several more, according to northjersey.com.

The Saddle Brook hotel was initially built on 2.7 acres of land on Kenny Place about 45 years ago, according to northjersey.com.
