Arleen Giovia, 76, Of Saddle Brook

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Arleen Giovia, of Saddle Brook, died on Friday, Dec. 16. She was 76.

Before retiring, she worked for Somerset Medical Center as a Human Resouce Specialist. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in Maywood.

She is survived by her children, Sam Giovia and his wife Donna, Linda DiPietro and her husband Biagio, Laura Hogh and her husband Kenneth, Joseph Giovia and his wife Eileen, and Particia Molnar and her husband Marty; grandchildren, Jaime and her husband Neil, Jimmy, Natasha and her husband Nick, Megan and her husband Joe, Jake, Gina, Chris and Allison; great-grandchildren, Juliet and Wyatt; and brothers, John Meier and his wife Diane and Stephen Meier and his wife Gilda.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 4-8 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., Paramus. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home followed by an 11 a.m. mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, Maywood. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
