Hughes as a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, in Rochelle Park, where she was a member of the Bereavement Group and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her son, David Hughes and his wife Joan of Saddle Brook; grandchildren Michael Hughes, and Lauren Hickey and her husband Joseph; and great-grandchildren Connor and Emily.
Hughes was preceded by her husband, Frederick Hughes.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., in Paramus. The funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, in North Arlington.
