SADDLE BROOK, N.J. —Bruce W. Chappell, of Whitehall, Pa., died Aug. 20. He was 76.
Born July 18, 1940, in New Haven, Conn., he resided in Saddle Brook for many years, moving to Rio Rancho, N.M. before settling in Whitehall, Pa. one month ago.
He worked as a supervisor with Air Conditioning Systems in Pine Brook for 35 years, retiring in 2001. He proudly served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He was the husband of Kathleen (nee Cesaro); father of Karen Chappell and Michael Chappell; and brother of Judith Campbell and the late Brian Chappell.
There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park with the Rev. Al Jousette officiating. Entombment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
