SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Delbert Flower, of Saddle Brook, died on Wednesday, Dec. 21. He was 97.
An Army veteran of World War II, Flower was a salesman for Universal Engineering, in Hawthorne, before he retired.
He is survived by his children, Marjory Jean Bornkamp and her husband Allan, and Donna Kievit; grandchildren Allan Bornkamp and his wife Robin, Dawn Bornkamp and her husband Robert, Robyn Kirkman and her husband Pete, Bryan Kievit and his wife Erika, and Matthew Kievit and his wife Daniela; and great-grandchildren Ashley, Megan, Robbie, Ashley, Camilla, Giada, Matthew, Jared and Eve.
Flower was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Muller) Flower.
A private graveside service will be held at the Laurel Cemetery in White Haven, Pennsylvania. Vander Plaat Memorial Home, in Paramus, is assisting with arrangements.
