SADDLE BROOK, N.J. – Edward J. Siepiola, a longtime resident of Saddle Brook, died Tuesday, Jan. 19. He was 92.
Siepiola served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he was stationed in Europe. A member of Elks Lodge 2001 of Paramus, he was a former exalted ruler. An active and concerned member of the Saddle Brook community, he served as a councilman, deputy mayor and mayor. Prior to retiring in 1984, he was a quality assurance engineer with Gibbs & Hill Inc. in New York for many years. Previous and after his service with the U.S. Army, he was employed with Curtiss Wright in Wood Ridge.
He is survived by his children of Deborah Beilschmidt and husband Allen; Donna Klein and husband Raymond; Denise Trento and husband Stephen; and Dorene Pelillo and husband Paul. He also is survived by his grandchildren Allen Jr., Ryan and wife Mary, Douglas, Brianna, Vincent and Matthew and great grandfather of Joshua.
He was predeceased by his wife Helen.
