ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Edward Michael Azurak, a lifelong resident of Elmwood Park, died on Sunday, Jan. 8. He was 88.
He was born in East Paterson on Dec. 8, 1928. He was the owner of Renpat Construction Company in Elmwood Park for over 25 years. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local #0015 in Hackensack. He was member of the Elmwood Park Volunteer Fire Company # 3 for over 60 years and a member of the New Jersey Exempt Firemans Association. He was also a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
He is survived by his children, Gail Mc Kenna, Diane Herk and the late Robert Azurak; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife, Ruth.
Visiting will be on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Friday 9:30 a.m. at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park. Entombment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
