ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Elaine Grova, 79, of Elmwood Park, died Tuesday, Nov. 1.
She was born in Passaic and lived in Elmwood Park for the past 56 years.
She was a member of Saint Peter & Paul’s P.N. Catholic Church in Passaic and a member of their Leisure Club. She worked as a cafeteria worker for the Elmwood Park Board of Education at the high school for 10 years before retiring. She loved playing bingo and going to Atlantic City.
She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin R.
She is survived by her children, John and Jackie Riley and her husband Christopher; grandchildren, Jonathan, Madolyn, Emma and Paige; and sister, Susan Cebollero and her husband George.
There will be a funeral at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Peter & Paul P.N. Catholic Church, 126 River Drive, Passaic. Interment will be in East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton. Visiting will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
