Henry Pressler, 96, Longtime Elmwood Park Resident

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Henry Pressler, of Elmwood Park, died on Thursday, Jan. 12. He was 96.

Born in Germany, Pressler has been a resident of Elmwood Park for over half a century. He worked for Falcon Jet in Teterboro for over 10 years, before he retired.

He was a member of the In Between Club, Senior Friendship Club, AARP and the Elmwood Park Homeowners Association.

Pressler is survived by his children, Ronald Pressler, Kenneth Pressler and his wife Peggy, and Eileen Ochab; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Emilia (Ochab) Pressler, and his daughter-in-law Carolyn.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday morning, Jan. 17, at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, in Elmwood Park, with Rev. Jeffrey Leininger officiating. Interment was at St. Michael's Cemetery, in South Hackensack.
