ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Maria Biancardi, of Elmwood Park, died Saturday July 30. She was 78.
She was born Jan 30, 1938, in Avella, Italy. She came to the United States, first living in Newark before settling in Elmwood park for the past 37 years.
She worked for A. Zerega’s & Sons Inc., in Fair Lawn for 21 years before retiring in 2001.
She is survived by her children, Vincent, Saverio and Antonio; and her grandchildren, Sebastian, Nicolette and Danielle.
There will be a funeral service at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Leo’s R.C. Church, 324 Market St., Elmwood Park. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
