ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Marie Buccigrossi of Elmwood Park, died on Saturday, Jan. 15. She was 86.
Born in Fair Lawn, she’s been a resident of Elmwood Park for over 70 years. She and her husband Joseph "Sonny" Sr. owned Morris B. Moving Company in Elmwood Park. She was a member of the Elmwood Park Homeowners, American Legion Post #147 Ladies Auxillary, Senior Leisure Club and A.A.R.P. Elmwood Park Chapter.
She is survived by her children, Joseph “Butch” Jr. and Timothy, his wife Joy; grandchildren, Tyler Joseph and Ryan Anthony; and sister Louise Lee Gordon.
She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Sr. and sisters Mildred Nardone and Betty Katz.
Visiting is on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Inc., 274 Market Street, Elmwood Park. The funeral mass is Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Leo’s R.C. Church, Elmwood Park. Interment Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
