ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Martha Stottlemyer of Elmwood Park died Wednesday, Dec. 23rd. She was 83.
Born in Germany, Stottlemyer came to the United States in 1952. She had last worked at the KMart in Elmwood Park; she retired in 1992.
In addition to being a parishioner of St. Anne's Church in Fair Lawn, Stottlemyer also was an active member of the Senior Friendship Club of Elmwood Park.
She is survived by her son James and his wife Diana; son John and wife Risa; grandson Nicholas; nephew Helmut; and nieces Christine, Heidi and Susan.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Stottlemyer, and her parents Alfred and Anna (Rieger) Schneider.
Interment was at George Washington Memorial Park. Arrangements were handled by Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service.
