Paul Eugene Trabert, 80, Of Elmwood Park

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Paul Eugene Trabert, 80, of Elmwood Park passed away Dec. 22, 2015, after a courageous battle against cancer, with his family by his bedside.

He was born Aug. 28, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisc., to the late William and Leona (nee: Fehlo) Trabert.

He worked as an IT specialist for AT&T for more than 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Volunteer Railroaders Association, which supported his love of trains.

He was the husband of Alba (nee Cinquino); father and father-in-law of Janice and Craig Sandler and Beverly (predeceased) and Nicholas Spano; and grandfather of Angelica, Tiara, Nicholas IV, Daniella, and Hunter. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Mannila; and brother Tyrone Trabert.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, 274 Market St., Elmwood Park, NJ. Funeral services will be held at noon Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus.
