Elmwood Park Police Bust Paramus Pair With Heroin

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Two Paramus men passing through town were carrying 80 bags o heroin when they were stopped, Elmwood Park police said Wednesday.

Officers stopped Michael Cary, 24, and Frank Ambrosio, 22, on Locust Street around 4 p.m. Tuesday, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.

Both were charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Ambrosio was also charged with resisting arrest and hindering, the chief said.

Both were released pending Municipal Court hearings.
