Detectives Anthony DiPasquale and Robert Centkowski obtained arrest warrants after identifying 35-year-old Luis Haluska of Molnar Drive as their suspect, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.

Acting on a tip that Haluska was in Bradenton, the detectives contacted the Manatee County Sheriff's Department, whose officers found him late last week, the chief said.

Haluska was being held there pending extradition proceedings, he said.

Bail in New Jersey was set at $250,000 on two counts of armed robbery, one of aggravated assault and various weapons offenses.
