Mariela Del Rosario, 30, was ordered held in the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing after borough police arrested her at her home Wednesday and charged her with various counts of theft.

Del Rosario stole a laptop, jewelry and credit cards from a Courter Road residence and jewelry from a Meadow Lane residence, Capt. John Bakelaar said Thursday morning.

She’d worked as a home health aide at both locations, he said.

Detectives Robert Grassi and Jon Rynander investigated, producing the arrest, Bakelaar said.
