SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Poor writing cost a would-be Saddle Brook bank robber who was being sought by police early Monday afternoon.
"He displayed a note but it was incoherent," Sgt. Jeff Panagia told Daily Voice following the abortive holdup just before noon. "There was no weapon shown."
The would-be robber walked toward Market Street from the Mayhill Street bank.
He was wearing a dark-colored Los Angeles Ram cap and a similarly-colored polo shirt.
Police released a surveillance photo ( above ).
ANYONE who sees him is asked to immediately dial 911.
