The free program, which begins at 7 p.m., is entitled “Ryan’s Story”, and addresses bullying, cyber-bullying, teen depression and teen suicide prevention.

John Halligan will speak about the suicide of his son, Ryan (inset, above), a middle school student who was ridiculed and humiliated by classmates at school and online.

Handouts will be distributed with recommendations and useful information about the use of modern technology by teens.

Sponsored by Saddle Brook’s Municipal Alliance organization, the program is considered a “must see” for parents and those concerned for the well-being of young children.
