The Hoboken-bound Port Jervis train clipped the rear of the truck, which continued north on Midland Avenue, around 11:10 a.m., NJ Transit’s Nancy Snyder told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

None of the 200 or so passengers or crew members was injured, she said.

Authorities asked that anyone with information that could help the investigation call NJ Transit police at (973) 378-6565 or Elmwood Park police at (201) 796-0700.
