YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A .45-caliber semiautomatic and a .32-caliber Baretta were reported taken in a Saddle Brook burglary while the homeowners were away on vacation, police said.
The homeowners told police their daughter last checked on the home early Wednesday evening. When they returned at 7 p.m. Friday, they said, they found a rear door forced open and the master bedroom ransacked.
Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino’s Bureau of Criminal Identification collected evidence, and Saddle Brook Police Detective Capt. is investigating, Chief Robert J. Kugler said.
