Wayne PD: 18-Year-Old Stabs Father In Back During Easter Argument

WAYNE, N.J. -- An 18-year-old stabbed his father in the back, sending him to the hospital, during an Easter evening argument in a Wayne home, authorities confirmed Monday.

The father was rushed into surgery.

The father was rushed into surgery at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson after the assault near the corner of Ratzer Road and Webster Drive around 8:30 p.m. and the weapon was recovered, they said.

Further information was being withheld pending the father's condition because it was a domestic incident.
