Wayne Police Officer, Other Driver OK After Crash

WAYNE, N.J. -- A Wayne police officer responding to an emergency call was involved in a crash Tuesday night.

Both drivers checked out OK at the hospital, responders said.

Both the officer and the other driver were checked out at the hospital and later released following the 6:30 p.m. crash at Hamburg Turnpike and Church Lane, authorities told Daily Voice.

An investigation was continuing, they said.
