In Elmwood Park, Bergen’s Youngest Councilperson To Be Sworn In

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. – Bergen County’s youngest councilperson is slated to be sworn in to serve on the Elmwood Park Council tonight.

Daniel Golabek, 21, will be sworn in for his first term. Golabek is also the outgoing vice president of the Elmwood Park Board of Education.

Councilman Joseph Dombrowski will also be sworn in for his second term tonight. Dombrowski garnered 4,435 votes in the November election, the highest vote count for an Elmwood Park council candidate in history.

The 2017 Elmwood Park Mayor and Council Reorganization meeting will take place tonight, Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. It will be held at the municipal building, 182 Market Street.
