SADDLE BROOK, N.J. – Democratic Saddle Brook Councilman David Gierek held onto his seat on the council Tuesday.

The incumbent bested challenger Joseph Camilleri by a vote of 2,011 to 679, according to unofficial results from the Bergen County Clerk’s Office.

Incumbents Regina Barrale and Sylvia Zottarelli were also re-elected to the Saddle Brook Board of Education, along with newcomer Kelly Mahoney. The three candidates beat Hayley Traverso.
