Kazmark -- a Democrat who also serves as municipal clerk in Elmwood Park – announced this week that he is forming a congressional exploratory committee.

He would try to unseat incumbent Rodney Frelinghuysen in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District in 2018.

“I love my job as Mayor and will continue to work every day to get things done in our town, but we can't ignore what is happening - or isn't happening - in Washington, DC.,” Kazmark said.

Kazmark's committee has already launched a website at KazmarkforCongress.com.
