ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Members of the Elmwood Park Education Association recently organized outside the board of education to protest an ongoing two-year pay freeze with no settled contract, according to northjersey.com
More than 50 teachers and other union members employed by the Elmwood Park School District marched along East 53rd Street holding signs that read: "No Contract, Still Working, Always Caring."
Northjersey.com reports the EPEA includes teachers, nurses, counselors, secretaries, child study team members, custodians and maintenance department workers.
