Principal John Lawlor gave S.T.E.A.M. teacher Howard Weinberg the task of coming up with an exciting way for 7-12th grade students to finish out the school year.
Approximately 80 students who are in grades 9-12 were responsible for researching (Technology) Designing (Art), Building (Engineering), & running all the carnival type games. They then used Science & Math challenges that the other students who play the games must solve in order to win tickets. The tickets were then exchanged for tokens. The tokens could be traded for cotton candy, snow-cones, popcorn, candy, and water.
