Clifton Athletes Take All-Passaic County Honors

CLIFTON, N.J. -- Many Clifton student-athletes garnered first-team All-Passaic County honors, in indoor track, basketball, hockey, swimming, wrestling and bowling, NorthJersey.com reports.

The Passaic County Coaches Association named junior Alenys Morales and senior Catherine Davey first team in indoor track, for 55-meter hurdles and shot put, NorthJersey.com added. Senior Brianna Morrison was named second-team for high jump, and Sarah Kusher and Tyra Douglas were given honorable mention.

Among the named first-team were juniors Kevin Heredia and Takashi Yuasa, for the 800 and pole vault, respectively, NorthJersey.com reported. The 4X400 relay team was also honored: Heredia, plus seniors Carlos Polanco and Joshwah Leonard, and junior Max Dubac. 

Second-team included Junior Luis Zorilla for shot put, and honorable mentions went to Sunny Ruiz and Yash Prajapati.
