Garfield Snowshoer Takes Silver In World Special Olympics

GARFIELD, N.J. — Courtney Muns of Garfield won a silver medal at the World Special Olympics in Austria.

Courtney Muns, 21 of Garfield, took home 2nd place in the snowshoeing event at the World Special Olympics in Austria.

The 21-year-old who has Down Syndrome came in second place in the  100-meter snowshoeing event, and placed 4th in the 200 meter race.
