LeTip is an international professional, business networking organization of men and women who exchange business leads that they call "tips."

Lisa Petersen, president of the Wyckoff Chapter, discovered the group a year and a half ago.

“I saw a great potential in networking, so I kept growing the group,” said the personnel trainer, who owns and operates Fitness Together in Wyckoff.

Three LeTip charter members have since grown to 15, with each representing a particular business category.

“If I need a plumber, I know someone I can tun to,” Petersen said. “It goes two-fold, as it’s not only about giving other people leads for their business but also benefiting from having breakfast every week with these people."So if you need something they are there, as well.”

Petersen has gaining new clients through the group. Some are fellow LeTip members and others friends or family referred by other members.

“This has been very fruitful for everyone,” she said.

Members can tap into other chapters across the country -- or the world.
