This newest Cinar, located in the old digs of the Ranchero Cantina on Kinderkamack Road, is the third.

There are two other locations in Cliffside Park and West Caldwell.

“Each location has unique food,” said Owner Tunch Ozlu, who opened in Emerson last week.

“Here in Emerson, all dishes are signature.”

They include Sun-Dried Eggplant, a popular dish in southeast Turkey, and Hunkar Begendi with Lamb — lamb in a light tomato sauce over warm eggplant puree.

There also are Turkish Dumplings stuffed with beef (or spinach) and onions, served with garlic yogurt and butter as well as Lamb Adana Kebabs.

Cinar features soups, salads and cold and hot appetizers.

Because Ozlu loves dessert, there’s plenty of that, too, from Kazandibi (caramelized milk pudding) to Baklava (traditional pastry with roasted pistachios).

The Cinar menu marks restaurant specialties, vegetarian dishes, vegan dishes and gluten-free dishes.

It also has a kids’ menu.
