Everyone is invited to this event, which will include music, bounce houses, free food and refreshments. Additionally, three brand-new bikes will be given away to three lucky kids. The bikes will be age-appropriate.

All emergency services will be there. A bonfire will be held later that evening following the event.

"This is an event where our residents have an opportunity to meet our police officers. It's an opportunity for the youth to see our police as nice men and women who care about their safety, said Councilman Joe Dombrowski. "Given what we see in the recent news, 2016 National Night Out is especially important."

The event will be from 6 - 9 p.m.

The rain-out date for the event is Wednesday, Aug. 3.

Boro Field is at 500 Blvd., Elmwood Park.
