ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Florence S. Casbarro, of Elmwood Park, died on Wednesday, Dec. 14. She was 87.
Born in Union, she lived most of her life in Elmwood Park. She was a telephone operator for New Jersey Bell in Rochelle Park for over 38 years, retiring in 1991.
She is survived by her children, James, his wife Patricia, Marybeth Covello-Wegman, her husband Daniel and Kathy Arose; grandchildren, James Vincent Casbarro Jr., Christine Patricia Casbarro, Dana Arose, Mark Arose, Steven Arose, Danielle Wolber, Amanda Wegman, Jenna Covello, Gary Covello, Casey Wegman and Matthew Covello; great-grandchildren, Kristina Covello, Ariana Rose Covello and Ben Wobler.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincenzo.
Visiting will be on Sunday, Dec. 18 from 2-5 p.m. at Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, 274 Market St., Elmwood Park. Funeral service will be on Monday, Dec. 19 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
