Richard Polifrone, 66, Of Saddle Brook

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. – Richard A. Polifrone, a resident of Saddle Brook, died Saturday, July 9. He was 66.

Prior to retiring, he owned and operated Stellakis and Polifrone Plumbing in Hackensack for many years. He was a member of the Hackensack Chapter of UNICO, the Hackensack Troast Athletic Club and a parishioner of the Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Hackensack.

He is survived by his wife Dona M.; son, Paul M. Polifrone of Clifton; and siblings, Dominick Polifrone, Frank Polifrone, Teri Lavallo, Anthony Polifrone and Joanne Polifrone.

He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Polifrone.

The family will receive friends on from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Service, 397 Union St., Hackensack. The funeral will be at 8:45 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Requiem at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 72 Lodi St., Hackensack. Cremation will be private.
