WAYNE, N.J. – Former Wayne Hills star quarterback Kevin Olsen has pleaded not guilty to raping his ex-girlfriend, the New York Post reports.
Olsen, who refused a plea deal for lesser charges, faces up to 10 years in prison on each of three rape charges against him, the story says.
Olsen was arrested in February for allegedly attacking his former girlfriend in his apartment near the University of North Carolina-Charlotte campus, the story says.
UNC-Charlotte officials have said Olsen has been suspended from all athletic activities and removed from the football team, and is not enrolled in classes for the semester, the story says.
